Thank you everyone for the kind words of support and farewells. Kotaku is a wonderful place, and will remain so. I know I'll continue to visit here.
One of the interesting things about Sherlock's (and old-timey cops') method of deductive reasoning is that it's not very useful in today's society. That's mostly because social norms are so broad today it's hard to ascribe a certain action or background to mannerisms, dress or other things easily observed.
